Ingredients

  • Chicory: 6
  • Béchamel sauce: 500 ml
  • Cooked ham: 6
  • Grana Padano cheese: 100 gr

Method

  1. Clean the Belgian endive and steam for 15 min. Let cool.
  2. Make 1/2 litre of Béchamel sauce separately and when finished pour half of the grated cheese in it and mix well.
  3. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  4. Cover the bottom of the bowl with some Béchamel sauce, roll up each endive in a slice of cooked ham and lay them in the bowl. Cover with the rest of the Béchamel and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  5. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 3, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Cook for 15 min. depending upon the degree of browning desired.
