Ingredients

  • Aubergines: 500 gr
  • Celery: 200 gr
  • Onion: 1/2
  • Olives: 90 gr
  • Capers: 15 gr
  • Pine nuts: 40 gr
  • Ripe tomatoes: 300 gr
  • Sugar: 30 gr
  • Stock: 250 g
  • Vinegar: 60 gr
  • Olive oil: lev. 5
  • Salt: to taste

Method

  1. Chop the aubergines and celery and slice the onions.
  2. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  3. Put the oil and onion in the bottom of the bowl, close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  4. Sauté the onion for 4 minutes
  5. Add the celery, aubergines and stock and cook for another 25 min.
  6. Add salt and pepper, pine nuts, chopped tomatoes, capers and olives and cook for another 15 min
  7. Add the sugar and vinegar and cook for another 15 min
