The De’Longhi Brillante 4-slice Toaster has been chosen as the winning product in the Hall of Fame category of this year’s The Australian Women’s Weekly Product of the Year Awards.
The inaugural AWW Product of the Year Awards highlight the stand-out brands and items in categories including health, beauty, cereals and snacks, frozen and dairy foods, pantry staples, home and cleaning products, beverages, toys and small domestic appliances, as voted by its 2.2 million readers. The coveted Hall of Fame award, on the other hand, is judged by a panel of experts and recognises products that have achieved iconic status in Australian homes.
“To be inducted to The Australian Women’s Weekly Hall of Fame is a great honour. AWW is one of Australia’s most trusted and well-read publications, and as such the company is delighted to achieve first place in this category," said De’Longhi Australia’s Chief Executive Officer Paolo Albertoni.
“Brillante is a flagship product for us in the Breakfast category of small domestic appliances and the win is testament to its quality and value to the consumer. It’s also great to see us up there with such well-known household names; it really proves the strength of the De’Longhi brand.”
Launched late last year, the Brillante range features a co-ordinating collection of kettles and toasters (available in jet black and ice white). Its sleek outer curves accompany a multi-faceted finish that goes beyond the traditional surface – the result of research into new ways to treat materials to create something quite unique. To complete the look, chromed details complement the creation.
The 4-slice toaster with two-slot independent operation is complete with electronic controls (reheat, defrost and cancel functions), variable browning control, neon indicator lights, deep variable width slots, extra high lift lever and removable crumb trays. A 2-slice toaster will be added to the collection later in the year.
The De’Longhi Brillante 4-slice Toaster will appear in a gallery featuring all the category winners in the June issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly magazine.
